Create RAID 1 AND RAID 5 arrays on PowerEdge T330
Hi,
Is there a way to create a RAID5 set along with a pre-existing RAID1 from OMSA? I'm not seeing anything that would allow me to do that. I have 3 2TB drives, doing nothing, but are not available for RAID5, just 0 or 1.

If one of the 2TB disks are currently set as a hot-spare, you will need to unassign it before it is available to be put into a new array.

In OMSA, click on Storage, PERC, Information/Configuration (link at top of the page), then Create from the dropdown menu of Available Tasks for the controller.
What controller are you using?
What is the status/state of each 2TB disk on the Physical Disks page (Storage, PERC, Connector/Backplane)?

We have a PERC H730. I think the hot spare is screwing with our plans.
