Dell Perc H700 Integrated
Hi everyone!
I need some help: my Lab have a PowerEdge R510 with Raid Hardware controlled by Dell Perc H700. Unfortunately I can't poweroff the server because a lot of jobs are running on it. Is there a way to know how is the raid configuration without entering the Bios utility? Maybe through openmanage?
Thanks in advance!
Andrea

What OS? You can run OMSA (OpenManage Server Administrator) to see the RAID config.
If you have configured the iDRAC, you can connect to that and see it.

Sorry.
I'm using Debian 7.8 with OMSA 7.1 installed and updated.
I've managed to see the configuration through omreport storage vdisk.
I've tried to access the OMSA web server on port 1311 but right after I login (correctly) a connection problem arises. dsm_om_connsvcd fails and the browaser says Connection failed. This is a problem of the softaware because if i write the wrong pwd it gives "login failed" and not the connection problem.
Is there a way to solve it?
Thanks.

Maybe one of the Dell guys has an idea. I'm not a big Linux guy, so I'm not sure how you would troubleshoot/fix potential conflicts or malfunctions with OMSA on Linux except for possibly repairing through a reinstall.
