Dell Power Edge R900
We have a Dell Power Edge R900. Recently we decided to put this server back into production but as we did we saw that the amber lights where blinking . We assumed the drives went bad and replaced them. After swapping out the drives, the lights where green and without issue. No sooner did I attempt to install the ESXi on the machine, the drives started blinking again. We swapped out the drives again thinking that maybe we got a bad set but it did it again.
Any thoughts

Hi,
What state does the controller show the drives in? It could be a backplane or controller issue.

Did you create a new array when you put it back into production? If not it could be an issue with the existing array, if you did then maybe a slot issue if the same drives keep failing.

I appreciate your time. I think that it is a slot issue.
