Different drive sizes being reported
Hello,
I have an R510 that we just noticed is reporting different drive sizes than what we expected/ordered.
We ordered the server (some time ago) with two 146G drives and 6 450G drives. This server has not been used since it's purchase. There were no support tickets created for it.
OMSA and ITA reports that drive 0:0:0 is 450G, drive 0:0:1 is 146G, and drive 1:0:6 is 146G.
Physically looking at the server, the drives indicate that HDD 0:0:0 is 146G, HDD 0:0:1 is 146G, and all the rest are 450G! Do I have to physically remove these drives to verify their size now?
I'm not sure how I set this server up and didn't notice this, but there you have it! Never seen this before!
ps. I will be rebuilding the server eventually anyway because the D:\ partition, which should be a RAID 5, (with 6 450G drives) is only reporting a size of 618G, which seems wrong to me.
Where did I go wrong?

Okay, here's the scoop. The outside of the drives were mislabeled. Drive 0 was labeled 146G, but was actually a 450G and drive 7 was labeled 450G but was actually 146G!
I swapped the two around and rebuilt the server and now it is showing up with a 1.99TB RAID 5 partition, (instead of the previous 618G).
I guess accidents happen in the factory?
