Is it possible to enable AHCI mode on a PE T300?

The default setup is 2 SATA HDD's connected to a "IDE" PCI controller. If I connect the SATA HDD's directly to the motherboard would that enable AHCI mode in the BIOS?

Hello nimoov

No, AHCI is not a feature of the T300. AHCI is more of a client feature, and is not something that we include in all of our enterprise equipment. Some of our servers have it and some do not. I have noticed that AHCI is less common in our newer servers, so we are likely dropping it from our enterprise equipment.

Thanks
