PERC Drivers for Windows Server 2003
We have three PE2300/1000 servers with AMI PERC controllers. I'd like to upgrade all three to Windows Server 2003, but cannot find proper drivers. It seems there are drivers available for PERC2 and up, but not PERC. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Microsoft dropped support for the original Perc (sometimes called Perc II) and there are no specific drivers available. However I have seen users report success on these forums by using the Win2000 driver.

One thing to note: The Perc II has a limitation of 12Gb for the boot raid container. It is also recommended to install the latest Perc II firmware:
