Perc S300 degraded drive PE T410

This is PE T410 with Perc S300 - 4 drives, two Raid 1 VD's. The first VD is degraded, physical disk 0:0 has failed. I have a replacement drive but I'm unclear whether I can hot swap these, specs do not seem to indicate it's hot-swappable, how to tell? If I shutdown, remove the bad drive and replace with a good one can I then do the rebuild via OMSA? or do I need to use the Perc utility at boot up?

Hi,

If the drives are accessible from the exterior of the case, they are hot swap. If the case needs to be entered to to access the drives, they are not hot swap. The following link has instructions for replacing a hard drive.
