PowerEdge R510 12 Bay - Differences between H200 3J8FW Integrated Raid and H200 X905N Modular Raid Cards

Hello!

I just purchased an Dell PowerEdge R510 12 Bay Server. Currently it has BIOS 1.6.3 and i want to upgrade it to 1.12

It  came with a preinstalled H700 Card. However, i want to install and run FreeNas and purchased H200 card so i can put in in JBOD mode and use ZFS from Freenas to set up the raid.

Questions:
What is the difference between the Dell H200 Integrated Card 3J8FW Raid Controller (which has two SAS connectors and looks similar to the H700 Card that is currently installed) and the H200 Modular Card (PCIe Raid Adapter X905N) whihc as no SAS connectors?

How does the Modular Card work without connectors in the R510?
Can both cards be used in the same R510 Server?

Follow-up questions: Will the H200 Integrated Card support my 5 each 4TB WD Red NAS Dirves? I have read in that the H200 only supports 2TB Drives.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hello

Integrated, modular, and adapter are terms that specify the slot type. A PERC with integrated in the description is designed to function in an integrated storage slot, adapter is for a normal PCIe slot, and modular is for a modular storage slot. The controllers are not supported and will likely not function in any slot type other than what they are intended.

Will the H200 Integrated Card support my 5 each 4TB WD Red NAS Dirves? I have read in that the H200 only supports 2TB Drives.
