PowerEdge R710 E1810 error on LCD screen

Hello

We have an error message scrolling on the LCD of the server that states E1810 Hard drive fault review and clear SEL. Having no knowledge on how to check out the server for this issue I was wondering if anyone else out there experienced this issue and how did you resolve it. We already replaced the drive with the exact one that was there.

Hello.

The error "e1810" indicates that a given hard drive is in a failed state. To clear the system event logs SEL, launch iDRAC web interface and go to logs. At the bottom of the logs page, click Clear Log. Another way is to boot into the iDRAC BIOS using Ctrl+E during POST. Once in the iDRAC screen, scroll down to System Event Log menu, hit Enter and then scroll downwards to clear the system event log. You can also clear the SEL using OpenManage Server Administrator, OMSA if installed. Go to Hardware Logs to clear SEL. Either method you choose, reboot the server and monitor the LCD for error.
