PowerEdge R710 upgrade 6i to a H700
I am trying to find what I need to upgrade our current R710 server with a perc 6i to a H700. From what I have read, the cables for the 6i are not compatible with the H700. Can someone let me know the exact part numbers that I will need. The R710 has the 8 2.5 inch configuration.

The cable required for the H700 is part number R145M. Now there sometimes are different cables for each side, but in this case the same model cable is used on both sides of the controller. If you get those cables, and follow the instructions on the bottom of page 112-114 on this manual - http://ftp.dell.com/Manuals/all-products/esuprt_ser_stor_net/esuprt_poweredge/poweredge-r710_Owner%27s%20Manual_en-us.pdf
You should be fine.
