Poweredge R620 H310 LSI StorCLI
Hi.
I have a PowerEdge R620 with PERC H310. I'm able to recognize and manage the disks with LSI MegaRAID MegaCLI. If I try LSI StorCLI utility (the replacement for MegaCLI), the disks are not recognized. If I go back and try the original version of StorCLI, the disks are recognized, but a few versions later, they are not. Does anyone have any luck using StorCLI with H310 ? (I'm using RHEL 7.1).

I found and downloaded perccli from Dell, and even though the H310 isn't in the list of supported cards, it recognizes the card. I'm wondering if this means that LSI has specifically blocked the PERC cards from being recognized in the latest versions of storCLI so that each vendor has to provide their own version of the same command that recognizes just their stuff. I really hope not. It would be really nice if there was one command that worked with all the vendors rebranded MegaRAID stuff. At least that's how MegaCLI used to be.
