R230 convert from H330 to onboard HBA

Hi all. I've got an R230 with 4x hot swap 3.5" bays and a PERC H330. I would like to remove the H330 from the machine permanently and only use the motherboard's HBA. What cables do I need? Specifically, is there a cable that will connect from the system-board nin-SAS connector to the installed backplane?

My chassis has the following part numbers: 4F7V1, TTVX0, 457CH.

The H330 has the following part numbers: 4Y5H1, FFRDK, 8KYYM

Thank you!

I think this SAS cable is all you need:

PGYRW

I don't think the LED cable is needed  with the onboard SATA controller. The only LED cables I have listed are for PERC H730/H330 configurations. The embedded controller does not support SAS, it is SATA only.

I understand!

I had only said mini-SAS because that is what the port on the main board is called in the owner's manual. We are currently configured as Figure 40 on page 76, and we are trying to downgrade to something like Figure 41 on page 77.

The machine is currently a dedicated application server on bare metal. We are trying to repurpose it to be a generic vSphere host with only a local drive for booting the hypervisor. VMs would be loaded from a dedicated SAN.

Thank you so much!

Please confirm whether you have 4 X 3.5 backplane config or cabled hard drive config. You can refer below link if you have a backplane and want to connect it to software raid. you need to have cable with part # PGYRW for this.
