Repairing Window 2003 R2 in Dell Server R710

Dear Concern,

I have a one unit Dell Server R710 install with windows 2003 R2 64 bit. Recently the operating somehow crashed, now I am trying to repair my operating system without any data lost.  But when i trying to reinstall the operating, the machine cannot find the PERC 6/I driver.

Note:  We don’t have an any USB FDD, it possible to install using USB pen drive?  or any other way?

2003 is a dinosaur and should be replaced. It cannot get drivers any other way. I suggest you use nLiteOS.com to integrate the drivers into your installation media (will create a new ISO).

Windows 2003 cannot see the USB device outside the OS without the USB prep f6 utility.

You will need to download the driver, and extract, before using the above utility. Once the USB key is made, use the F6 option during repair to point to the USB key.

I would still recommend nLiteOS.com as the USB F6 Key Prep utility is EXTREMELY picky and flaky.
