SSD & DELL POWEREDGE T110
Hello,
I would like to ask about the meaning of installing an SSD in the server Dell Power Edge T110. From what I understand the server is running on the interface SATA1. Which SSDs do you recommend?
Regards

Hello.
Unfortunately, SSDs are not supported on the T110 server. You are limited to only SAS and SATA hard drives

Has anything changed in this matter? Mby some bios update so that the server can support SSD? Interesting that on the Kingston compatibility page, the manufacturer boasts an SSD solution for this server model.

Hi,
Unfortunately, the T110 would not be able to support SSD due to it's hardware. Do you have the information about the page that you are referring.

Message from Kingston:
"Based on the information you provided us, our R&D department suggest the following:
This is the Link is related to your system and the compatibility with the SSD to use:
Link
SSDs can be used, should the Server or the RAID Controller on the Server have SATA Support. Based on the datasheet of this Server this could support SAS or SATA Drives, our DC SSD series are SATA Drive."
Can someone explain it to me?

Hi,
I am unsure how Kingston would have information that T110 can support SSD, but here in our documentation, SSD is not listed as a supported device in T110.
