Suboptimal RAID1 performance with PERC H700
I noticed that streaming read operations from RAID1 VD running on PERC H700 uses only one disk for reading. The controller would get a lot more better performance if it would use both of the RAID1 disks for contiguous reading operations. This is just a suggestion for improving H700 performance.

You are correct, LSI raid interfaces, like many other raid manufacturers, only read from the fastest raid 1 member, it is a shame, it been that way since the beginning of time; not sure it if still in affect, but the onboard Intel raid SATA interfaces read from both drives, last time I looked.
