T110 - Perc S100 - non raid issue - Help Please

Hi Guys,

I have an old T110 and need some help please.

Somehow i have managed to loose the S100 Config.

I had the first2 disks (OS) in raid 1

The other disks were non raid.

I've recreated the raid 1 Virtual drive.

however the non raid disks are now showing as "ready" if i try to initilize it will wipe the data.  is there anyway i can initilize wihtout loosing the data?

Or any other method i can use to recover teh data from the non raid drives?

any advice appreciated, Thanks in advance

Hello

If the drive is in a ready state and it is supposed to be in a non-RAID state then I would choose "Rescan Disks". If the system does not detect the non-RAID configuration present then I'm not aware of another way to bring the drive back online. If you choose to create a virtual disk and select non-RAID it will initialize the disk. That is a destructive process.

If the sync does not bring the drive back to the proper state then I would prepare to restore from backup after recreating the non-RAID disk. If the data is important and a valid backup is not available then I would contact a data recovery company if the sync does not work.
