T330 replace PERC S130 with H330
Hello,
I currently have a T330 with the PERC s130 and need to add 2 more hard drives for a total of 6. As far as I can tell the S130 is not capable for adding more than 4 drives so I wanted to know what the part number for the PERC H330 would be? Do I need any thing else besides the H330 card? The server is already equipped with back plane and hots swap SATA drives.

The part number for the H330 controller is 4Y5H1. you wouldn't likely need the cable (part P9VFY) withyou not exceeding 6 hdds.

If you're like me you came to this looking for answers and only half of it is here.
Yes the H330 card will work with the T330 build that came with a backplane and using the s130 motherboard raid controller.
But the cable you'll need is ridiculously overpriced even used on eBay. So I found the same cable on Amazon for only 14.99. If you need to use the second set of drive slots, Slot B then order 2
