T410 just OOW and HDD fails. New Hard drive not recognized.
Have a T410 and it just went out of warranty in July. Hard drive fails. Ordered new drive from Dell specific to the configuration. Receive and install drive. OpenMange still says failed instead of rebuilding.
Any help would be great. I figured after order well over $500,000 in equipment from Dell, I could at least get a little help but they want to charge for something that may genuinely be a bad or wrong part.

If the drive is showing as Ready, assign it as a hot-spare.
If the drive is showing as Foreign, clear the foreign configuration, then assign as a hot-spare.
