T430 - Trying to build SSD RAID 1 for OS and HDD RAID 1 for data
I am trying to build a T430 with 2 SSD in Raid 1 for OS and 2 SATA HDD in Raid 1 for data. For some reason, it will not allow me to config it in this manner. I could do SATA HDD or SAS for the first Raid 1 and SSD for the 2nd, but not vice versa. Am I missing something here? Thanks.

Hello
This could be a limitation of the controller or it could be a drive compatibility issue. Some controllers do not allow drive type mixing at all, most allow mixing but not within a virtual disk. Any limitations on mixing should be in the manual of the RAID controller.
