What can I do for resolving this problem ???

Hello everybody;

 I have a PowerEdge 2950. I want to install a Redhat 4. But when I boot the computer  from the CD, installation fail because the system doesn't detect the HDD.

The server has two HDD SAS 73 Gigabits in RAID1 with a PERC6i controller.

I'd download the driver on the DELL site and prepared the Driver Update Diskette for installing driver duringthe OS installation. The installation was done in expert mode using the external FDD drive (with the linux expert dd command). But the result is not good (no solution).

Is it possible to load drivers from the CD (an external one because the server has only one Optical drive) or Is it possible to use the same CD driver for the system CD and the driver CD , which cmd can I use? What can I try again for installing Linux Redhat 4 on this server?

I don't need to use a FDD drive as source  to load drivers.

Thank you in advance for you answer.
