Where to put SATA discs T310
Hi,
T310 server.
I know that 4 sas drives can be installed in front drive bay. There's also support for four SATA drives on the MOBO.
But in my server are no SATA drive brackets. Do I have to buy them optional ? And where do i put these drives? I see now "slots"for these brackets.
Can these ones be used ? Dell Dimension OptiPlex Hard Drive Caddy YJ221

Put them in the front drive bays - SAS backplanes/cables can take SAS or SATA drives.

That's not what i was asking. I wanted to know where to house the sata drives besides the 4 sas disks at the front.
And you are probably going to say: don't use desktop/nas disks in a server. But why having sata ports on a mainboard if you're not going to use them.
