<Premium Feature> requires acitivation

I am testing H730P RAID controllers and changing the batteries where appropriate.  

One of the servers gave the following error after fitting a new battery. How can this be fixed?

Late update in case anyone else runs up against the same issue. After a firmware update and a full charge of the controller the issue went away

I haven't come across this before, but to start I would suggest that you update the servers BIOS, iDrac, as well as the H730p. After that I would see if the page changes to Optimal, if not then check with the original battery, and if available another known good battery to see if that corrects the issue.

 

Let me know what you see.

this is a test rig with everything updated

H730P firmware is updated at boot

battery was taken fresh from the package

so not sure what else it could be

Could you describe the exact message you have because the screenshot didn't display for me. Have to tested as my collegue Chris ask, to rollback with the old battery to check if the message "dissapear"? Could you provide us the part reference of the new battery?
