raid 10 question
hi
i am planning to purchase a R530 server which supports 8 X 3.5 inch drives
600 gb X 15k rpm - 4 drives - raid 10
2000 gb x 7.2k rpm - 4 drives - raid 10
is the above configuration supported ?

Indiannic,
This will come down to the controller installed in the server. If you follow this link it will show which controllers support the different Raid levels.

Don't consider purchasing anything but the H730, regardless of the RAID level(s) you plan to use.
