This morning this error showed up. E171F PCIE Fatal Err B0 F6 D0. Server running Ubuntu 61.04 64Bit. Server and OS are still accessible. Trying to figure out what and how to fix. Below is LSPCI output.

Hi,

The error is pointing to 00:06.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 5000 Series Chipset PCI Express x8 Port 6-7 (rev 12) Which is the left pcie riser. Are there any cards in those slots? Reseating the cards and the riser would be the first step.

Hello Josh, we did figure out the device is what you point out. There is a riser card with the Dell RAID controller on it in that slot. We just finished reseating the cards, configured the iDRAC5 for access. Now we are trying to clear the error to see if that fixed it. We have yet to find how to clear the error.
