Added hot plug sata drive but cannot see disk from OS ?
Poweredgae R510 with hot plug dirves (SATA II).
Inserted the disk
Loaded OpenManage
Found the disk (blink)
Created a new virtual DRIVE RAID 0
Slow initilised disk, fast initalised disk
Still cant see the disk with My Computer (Windows 2008 server (R1))
Right Click My Computer , Manage, Storage , Disk Managemt does not load (im guessing this is by design due to OpenManage app)
What am i missing here ? how can i get this disk online ?

rebooted the server , attempted to login to OpenManage console, now it cannot find any information. Logs in ok but all info is blank.
So i tried Right Click My Computer , Manage, Storage , Disk Managemt .... AND NOW i can see all the drives and can format , initilised disk etc .... EH what the heck is going on ?

What OpenManage app are you using? Array Manager or Server Administrator? What version of OMSA are you using?
