CMC M1000e chassis does not see blade, even though it is operational

I have an M1000e chassis loaded with M710HD blades.  The CMC has always seen all the blades.  The other day it no longer detected one of the blades.  But the blade is still functioning properly, and the idrac is reachable on it.  I have tried failing over/resetting CMC, but it has not helped.  The CMC version is 4.1.  I know it's outdated, but we haven't had any issues with it.  Any ideas on how to get CMC to recognize the blade without disruption?  Ideally I want to try to fix this without upgrading the FW to 4.5.

Tickermcse76,

I would say that it is likely due to the CMC and the iDrac both being out of date.  I know you are wanting to keep from updating the CMC at this time, so I would start with the M710HD drac update to start. If that doesn't resolve it then you may need to go ahead and bring the CMC to 4.5. Below are the links to both.

CMC 4.5 - http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=D2KPX&fileId=3325047092&osCode=WNET&productCode=poweredge-m1000e&languageCode=EN&categoryId=CE

Idrac6 3.6.0 - http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=W8KNT&fileId=3352148569&osCode=WS8R2&productCode=poweredge-m710hd&languageCode=EN&categoryId=ES

Let me know what you see.

I know the CMC upgrade is supposed to be non-disruptive, but we don't want to take any chances since there are several production servers in the chassis.  I guess we'll have to fit in a maintenance window.
