Dell PERC H755 performance
Hi,
could anyone tell me if these results are normal and for server with Dell PERC H755 and Raid 5 with 8x SSD SAS (12Gb/s) 960GB ?
I'm worried about not good write speed, about 5000MB/s write speed has current NVME drives for consumers.

Tutek,
While we normally don't address performance based questions, as it is based on too many different variables, what I would suggest is that you look into the best IOPS performance for each raid level and also look into Fastpath for performance gains.
I also found this posting that goes over a lot of SSD performance topics.

Hi @Tutek,
Unfortunately, that's not possible after creating a VD as it would change the data amount on each stripe and it will most likely corrupt all the data.

Hi,
it is possible to change stripe size to 64 KB when virtual disk is already created on perc 755?
