Dell Power Edge R520
After replacing the new system battery LCD error MSG shows as below:
BAT0002
- Message
- The system board battery has failed.
- LCD Message
- The system board battery has failed. Check battery.
- Details
- The system board battery is either missing or bad.
- Action
- See Getting Help .
- Any idea to fix this alarm.Even installing back old battery this error msg still there.Please help how to fix.

Try to clear the system event logs, SEL and reboot the server. If the error persists, replace the system battery. Ensure that the system BIOS, firmware and drivers is up to date.

Thanks for support.I have Cleared the event log and re boot the server.Battery was changed already with new one.But still Battery Failed alarm is standing.
We never update the system,BIOS,firmware. Can these setting get effect while replace the system battery?

Systems update is a good starting point as they often trigger false hardware alarms once out of date. Also make sure the battery is firmed seated.
