Hi to everyone, the dell t140 server was purchased, it was written in the documentation that this server supports ECC REG memory.
Memory DDR4 Crucial CT16G4RFS4266 16Gb DIMM ECC Reg PC4-21300 CL19 2666MHz
When installing the memory error goes "Memory population error".
Bios updated to the latest version.
There are no validated RDIMMs for the T140. It may be possible for the T140 to support RDIMMs, but we have not validated any at this time. Some of the processors supported on the T140 do not support buffered/registered memory. I suggest reviewing the specifications of the memory controller on the CPU, most Xeon CPUs support buffered memory.
You can find more detailed memory guidelines in the manual on the system support page.

here you tell me from the listed processors that can be installed in this server, as it turned out DO NOT SUPPORT ECC REG. https://forums.intel.com/s/question/0D50P00004JGX7USAX/-intel-xeon-e2100-rdimm-?language=en_US
1 processor from the following: Intel® Xeon® E-2100 product family, Intel Pentium®, Intel Core i3®, Intel Celeron®
What do you mislead people? and your employees advise this memory if an Intel® Xeon® E-2100 product family is installed. Why did I buy this memory 4 pieces?
