Hi,
is it possible to equip Dell PowerEdge R720 with single double-slot-wide GPU (e.g. P5000)?
From the documentation it seems it is possible but I am not totally sure.
Thanks in advance,
miro
Solved! Go to Solution.
So long as it is placed in the specified slot then it should work, and cool as well.

Stuhlo,
Page 64 of that manual shows the configurations, and slots, that the double wide GPU requires.
I don't believe that specific card is supported though.
Let me know if this helps

Yes, Nvidia P5000 is not officially supported by Dell, but I would like to try it anyway. Therefore I wanted to ask if there is any possible obstacle before actually trying it.
So from the manual it follows, there should not any problem with physical/spatial configuration/installation. Do you agree?
Thanks,
Miro
