Drac Card in PE2950: Have lights but no access
I have a 2950 that has a drac card that stopped showing up in the Dell OpenManage Server Administrator locally on the server and now can no longer access it. The lights are fine on the card. I have an older version of the Dell OpenManage Server Administrator on it. I can only schedule downtime to troubleshoot within a short window so I need to do as much as I can in a short period of time to resolve this. I was going to start with running the SUU on the system and then installing the latest Open manage on it. If that did not work I was going to try a PCI DRAC from an older sytem since this one is on the MBoard to see if it is the DRAC itself.
Has anyone ever lost a Drac that appeared to be still functioning with lights on? I can still ping it but no access.

Updating the outdated firmware and management software is a great thing to start with.
Have you tried to manually reset the RAC configuration?
You can use the RACADM commands to rest, or enter the CTRL+E BMC BIOS to reset it.
