Install only one HDD on T320

Hello guys,

I have Dell PowerEdge T320, both of SAS HDD (600GB) where damaged due to software reason.

now i buy a new hard drive (300GB) and want to install a new version of windows server 2008 r2 (USB bootable).

but i can't see the hard drive during installation.

i tried to create a VD through (Ctrl + R on startup), but nothing showing up.

any idea please!

Hello,

You'd need to make a single drive RAID 0, then load the driver for whichever PERC you may be using. The PERCs won't pass drives through, unless they're RAID members or if the drives are set to pass through (most PERCs don't have an option to set a drive to pass through, though).
