Linux, RAID, and PowerEdge

When I try to load RH 6.2 on my new PE 6300, I get an error like this during the install "could not find any disk space". How do I get RH device drivers for the RAID Controller? Could anyone please help me out?

Are you sure you mean PowerEdge 6300? That's a pretty old system, the latest OS's it supports are Novel Netware 4.11 and Windows NT 4.0. Perhaps you mean C6300 or R630/T630?

Ah, I see. In that case, you're probably going to have trouble installing a newer OS such as RHEL 6. The RAID drivers for RHEL 3 are available here: www.dell.com/.../DriversDetails;driverId=PJFPJ

You may be able to get that to work, but I can't guarantee anything.
