M610 - IDRAC

Hi All,

Having a problem with accessing the blade from the enclosure. M610 blade, i need the part number for the IDRAC6 VFLASH as it wasnt in the blade when supplied.

I cannot connect to the blade from the enclosure as i think this is missing?

Any help would be great.

I'm so sorry to hear that you are having some problem with the M610.

Basically have you check physically that the IDRAC6 VFLASH card is missing?

Here's a hardware manual to check the VFLASH card physically.

Please refer to page 225

support.us.dell.com/.../HOMen.pdf

If you confirmed the VFLASH card is missing, do provide me your service tag of M610 so that I can provide you the part number for the VFLASH card.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I am missing:

1 SD vFlash card in upper card slot

2 iDRAC6 Enterprise card

 

Do i need the Vflash card?

Service tag = <ADMIN NOTE:Service tag removed per privacy policy>

I have actually done a simulation on a test unit M610 and even without the VFLASH card, I can still remote access the blade.

Please email me your service tag, as it was blocked.
