in the IDRAC web interface in section Configuration/System Information I am not able to see the "System Model Name" and the "System Manufacturer". I have compute PowerEdge R640. Do you know what can be the root cause of this issue?
Hello, this behavior appears on OEM devices mostly. OEM devices use special BIOS versions. As I can see your server also is an OEM version. You can also check it on Dell Support here https://dell.to/3Wgc7u5
On the same website, you can try to update BIOS and iDRAC but still might be model part comes blank.
