NO service tag present in omreport. Openmanage.
Hello Community,
Has someone meet this thing?
omreport chassis info has no asset tag.
Chassis Information

Chassis Name : Main System Chassis
Host Name : hostname
Chassis Model : PowerEdge R720xd
Chassis Lock : Present
Chassis Service Tag :
Express Service Code :
Chassis Asset Tag :
I have sent a local tech, and he confirmed that the service tag is set.
Looks like something with openmanage.

Hello,
The asset tag is different from the service tag. The asset tag can be anything you need it to be. However, you should still get the rest of the output. Do you know if the iDRAC is working? You could check the web gui, or run racadm getsysinfo. If that fails, than you'd want to troubleshoot the iDRAC. If it works, it's probably something to do with OpenManage. Restarting the OpenManage services is generally the easiest place to start. There would be four of them, each starting with DSM. You'd want to stop them all, then start them back up.

No, the IDRAC is not working , and /dev/ipmi0 device file is missing too.
