Power Edge 840 Amber Light with Green Lights
After reading another post, I downloaded and ran the hardware diagnostics with the following results:
Test #1 Memory Tests all passed.
Test #2 Two Errors found:
Error-code: 2900:0221
with multiple messages
IPMI :system board: Voltage Sensor Proc VTT State Asserted
IPMI :system board: Voltage Sensor 1.5 VPG State Asserted
IPMI :system board: Voltage Sensor 1.8 VPG State Asserted
CMOS Battery below critical
Voltage Sensor ROMB Battery
2900:0325 ROMB Battery State Asserted
Are these Bad Power Supply & CMOS Batteries
Can I continue to use server while I wait for parts?
And can you include a link for ordering parts
Many thanks.

If you are continuing to receive new errors that are not starting with 2900 then that would indicate that device is failing and or failed and would need replacement. The ROMB battery is the battery connected to the Storage controller in the server. Here is picture of the battery labeled BBU (Battery Backup). And the CMOS is the coin cell battery on the motherboard of the server.

Any error that starts with 2900 is pulled from the hardware log on the server. In order to get a clean diagnostic test you will need to clear the hardware log from the server and run the diagnostics again.
There are a couple ways to clear the hardware log on the server.
1. During post of the server hit control + e when prompted then you can view and clear the hardware log from there.
2. If you Open Manage software installed you can clear from inside the Open Manage software.
Hope you find this information useful.

If by clearing logs you meant clear system logs under events, then I did that but the IPMI failures came up a second time after I reran the diagnostics again.
