Poweredge VRTX, M620 blade and Endace DAG 9.2X2 PCIe card

Hello

I cannot get an Endace DAG 9.2X2 PCIe card working when installed in a VRTX and mapped to a blade.  The lights on the PCIe card don't come on, and although the CMC GUI recognises there is a card installed in the slot, the status of it is always powered off. I've checked the fabric is seen by the blade and also in the blade's BIOS that neither PCIe mezzanines are disabled.

I've read that Powerdge VRTX only support certain PCIe cards - is that right? How can Dell limit what PCIe cards work in a VRTX?!?

Another thing is the requirements for the DAG card aren't met, which is only that it is installed in an 8 lane PCIe 2.0 slot, which I'm pretty sure the VRTX has.

Any ideas gratefully received.
