R420 Fan failure

I am getting

PSU0037 Fan failure detected...

The manual says to check the fan for blockage. Is there any other info about this?

Try reseating the power supply and/or updating the firmware (depending on the server model). If neither resolves it, you will need to replace it.

I found this:

http://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/19/SLN293489/EN

Sure enough, I have the RYMG6 power supply.

I went to the support page for my R420. I downloaded the “Delta 550W PSU (PN: RYMG6) Firmware Package” Power_Firmware_KCGDJ_WN64_07.15.7F.EXE , as recommended in the web page.

When I ran the installer on my server, the update took 6 minutes.
Then there was a pop-up:
"Error
Execution Status:
Update Failure: The file copied to the partition did not match the original file."

I clicked OK. I clicked Finish on the Installer Wizard.

I restarted. It said it was entering Lifecycle Controller. Staged Update window came up.

Screen went black for 7 minutes. Then login screen. Logged in OK.

What is that error message. Is it anything to be concerned about?

Also, the Lifecycle Controller says the current version of the firmware for both Power Supply Slots is 07.15.7F, the one I installed.

In case that helps answer my questions.
