R620 12g hba cable problem
Hello,
I am facing a strange problem. I am trying to connect one R620 to a dell MD3420.
The problem i am facing is i have installed the 02PHG9 hba on the R620 but the cable 0GYK61 wont fit all the way in the port. No matter how i tried to fit it, it just wont go all the way in.
When the top cover is removed from the server the cable fits fine and everything works. But when the top cover is installed it just wont fit.
What am i missing? Do i have the correct cable?

Hi,
Please send a private message with your service tag to ensure we have all appropriate information on your system.
The 12 Gbps SAS HBA is not compatible with the 12th gen servers like your your R620. You may be able to move the card to another slot for more room for the cable, but I am unsure is that is an option.
