R740 motherboard Versions
Does anyone know the differences between the different versions of R740 motherboards?
I have a board that turns out to be a V3 but need a V5. I was not aware there were different version numbers and am trying to avoid compatibility issues.

Hello RickChadwick,
You will be ok to use the v3 mother board. A revision may happen say if we make a design change or should we use a different component such as capacitors or something like that but the v3 board will work just fine in place of the v5.
There is not a documentation available that states the changes between mother board versions.
If you would like to source a v5 I have these part numbers:
PN#923K0 - ASSY,PWA,PLN,R740/XD,FXCN,V5
PN#JMK61 - ASSY,PWA,PLN,R740/XD,INTEC,V5
Same system board just different manufacturers.
