Technical difference between PowerEdge M630 *** Vs. PowerEdgeR430 Vs. PowerEdge FC430

Hello Dell team,

I am totally new in Dell products,

I am little bit confused in PowerEdge M630 ***, PowerEdgeR430 , PowerEdge FC430

Which is better servers. If anybody can brief me on these products technically as well as data speeds etc.

Best regards,

Anand Mane.

Anand Mane,

The M630 is a Blade Server that is meant to be installed in the VRTX or M1000e enclosure.

The FC430 is a Blade Server that is meant to be installed in the FX2 enclosure.

Lastly, the R430 is a Rack mounted server.

So it really doesn't come down to comparing them against each other, as it would depend on what you are installing them in, or on.

Let me know if this helps.

Hello,

The FC systems will only work in an FX chassis. The way the two chassis models manage PCI cards is different, in addition to any other differences, such as mechanical fitment.
