How can we check the number of bad sectors on a hard drive?

Use Dell's Online or 32-bit Diagnostics to test Dell drives. If they are generic/retail versions of the drives, then you can use SeaTools. What is the make/model of the drives? Are they Dell/Seagate co-branded?

Thanks for the info. I am testing a mix of dell/seagate and generic.
