Updating m710HD Nics fail

Hi,

I am trying to update the nic f/ware on several m710HDs and keep getting the message

"Return Code mismatch for FmpUpdateWrapper.efi - (0xb00000001)!

The bios, lcc and idrac are at the latest levels. The file I am using is Network_Firmware_WR5R5_WN32_08.07.25_A00-00.EXE.

I have tried via the chassis to update the nic and via OME 2.2. Both fail with the same message.

Any help is appreciated,

Thx,

John Bradshaw

Kind regards.

I have tried using the DRAC to boot to, followed by Virtual Media connection and updating using iso, but it still fails with the same message.

Using the method prescribed above updated only the drac (3.4 to 3.8). The rest failed due to a Virtual Disk degradation....Yet the drac logs show no such issue.

Any other ideas?

Thx,

John

Try deleting lifecycle controller jobs, then try to update latest first:

-lifecycle

-idrac

-bios

-rest

Thx mate.

I was guessing that some components needed updating ahead of others...I just assumed that something like OME would have had used some order like that to do updates.

Pity since we have a lot of these to do.

Cheers,

This is still not working. No matter what we do we cannot use the above file to do updates.

Has anyone else had a problem updating these nics? (Broadcom NetXtreme II 10 Gigabit Ethernet)

Thx
