VRTX M630 blade in M1000E
Hello, I have 2 M630 blades from a VRTX. I am trying to put them in a M1000E. Everything works fine, except when I put the Intel X520 in Fabric B. The blades fails to power on and says "fabric mismatch"
Any ideas on how to make this work?

Fabric mismatch will happen when card installed on M630 blade does not match with module installed on the chassis for a fabric. As you connected "Intel X520" on Fabric B on M630, You need to have ethernet switch or pass through on chassis in Fabric B. Can you Fabric B on chassis and check this?

There is a IO Aggregator in Fabric B. Other blades with X520s work fine.

Did you remove both VRTX mezzanine card, or only the B unit? Maybe remove both if you didn't do that yet.

Both, there are no mezz cards in it besides the x520
