Video driver for 2008 R2 upgrade

I upgraded my PowerEdge 2800 from 2003 server to 2008 R2 and everything is working great except the video setting. My display is listed as a standard vga ( I have the built in ATI Radeon 7000) and I can't seem to find any Dell drivers for it.

Thanks

What exactly are you hoping to acheive?

You might try the 2008x64 (non-R2) driver:

Just keep in mind that this server graphics chipset has severe limitations compared to a desktop:

An integrated VGA-compatible video subsystem with an ATI Radeon 7000-M, 33MHz
PCI video controller. This video subsystem contains 16MB of SDRAM video memory
(nonupgradable). Maximum resolution is 1600 x 1200 with 64,000 colors;
true-color graphics are supported in the following resolutions: 640 x 480,
800 x 600, 1024 x 768, 1152 x 864, and 1280 x 1024. When the optional remote
access is installed, the video resolution is 1024 X 768.

The 2850 driver worked. Thanks for your help.

This server, like many of Dell's servers, relies on the Microsoft driver provided by the OS. You may be able to find a driver from ATI that will work; I would try the Vista driver first.

Let us know if this works for you.

I tried several ATI Win 7 and Vista drivers but none have worked so far,  I even tried the ATI auto detect.
