Will the Dell T31 Server support a four lane NVMe PCIE SSD?

Will the Dell T31 Server support two (qty 2) four lane (4x Mode) NVMe PCIE SSD via a Dual M.2 to PCI-E x 4 adapter card?

Will the T30 Server Support two four lane NVMe PCIE SSDs?

I would like to put in an expansion card that can hold a quantity of two NVMe PCIE SSDs, both in four lane mode. Is this possible?

Thanks!

Re: Will the T30 Server Support two four lane NVMe PCIE SSDs

Hello

The specifications and requirements on the device are not very detailed. The device has not been validated, so I don't know if it will work. I was not able to find any specification that would keep it from working. All of the PCIe slots are x4 or greater, so it should work in all slots. All slots are limited to 25w, I was not able to find a specification that listed the required wattage.

You are probably just going to have to test to see if it will work. Skimming through the specs, I don't see a reason it will not work. You can find documentation on the system support page. There should be a section in the manual for slot specifications.
