World record TPC-H benchmark with 1TB database
Dell just ran a comparison test of Dell PowerEdge R820 running Actian Vectorwise, HP running Microsoft SQL, and Oracle hardware and database.
The results are a new world record for 1 terabyte of data. Dell PowerEdge R820 and Actian Vectorwise set a world record for both the overall performance benchmark and the price/performance benchmark!
