I am able to ask for some remote hands help from a remote location to set the iDrac IP addresses from the LCD panel on my PowerEdge servers. Does this activity cause any potential downtime to my production servers? Are the servers able to keep running its applications as per normal during the configuration?
There will not be any down time to the server when iDRAC IP is configured using LCD. iDRAC network will not accessible for one or two minutes when IP is changed
