"Cross Platform" parts between PE R610 and R710
I have a PowerEdge R610 and a PowerEdge R710 and my problem is that my R610's Internal SD slot has broken and I was wondering if I could use the R710 Internal SD card slot to replace the R610

Yes, you should be able to use the same SD cards across both systems.

I meant as in the SD card readers. My R610 does not have the actual SD card reader while my R710 does have the SD card reader and I was wondering if I can take out the SD card reader from the R710 and install it into the R610

The internal dual SD module is the same part for the R610 and R710.
